Add water, and stir with the handily designed Aeropress stirrer.

 
My ‘I need therapy’ mug, with the Aeropress  (crooked)  filled with water.   The stirrer is well designed so that the wide paddle at the top prevents the stirrer from pressing against the filter and possibly damaging it.   Some people put water into the hollow plunger and heat it in the microwave, but I prefer using the kettle.

My coffee is almost ready!
